Preparing for 2022 Session

The legislative session starts on January 3rd and I’m attending meetings daily to get ready. The county delegation is meeting with community partners. I’m caucusing with fellow democrats to identify our priorities and share stories from the off-session.

The legislative session starts on January 3rd and I’m attending meetings daily to get ready. The county delegation is meeting with community partners. I’m caucusing with fellow democrats to identify our priorities and share stories from the off-session. I’m meeting with our legislative joint fiscal office and legislative counsel daily to get bills and priorities prepped for the session ahead.

I would like to hear from you!

In January I will restart weekly office hours via zoom on Sundays at 4pm, you can join here https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82536080142?pwd=UGxDTU93Zk5mZWFadWpCM0IxUGJBUT09, and if you prefer to meet in-person, we’re hosting monthly meetings at the library on the second Saturday of the month at 10:30am with my fellow Brattleboro representatives, Tristan Toleno and Mollie Burke and State Senators, Nader Hashim and Wendy Harrison. I do hope you’ll join us on December 10th at 10:30am to kick off the season.

I’m also hoping for specific focused advice and support from you. In order to do this work as well as our community deserves, I would like to create a consultancy group or kitchen cabinet– working with folks with specific expertise in our community– farmers, builders, nurses, mental health specialists, parents, elders, and communication and event enthusiasts. I’m imagining that this would be a commitment of an hour or two per month and I promise to keep it interesting and accessible.
